Seeds are irregular polyhedron, 2 ~ 3 mm in                                          diameter; Surface brownish red or dark brown, with fine wrinkles, outside by light brown membranous                                                  pseudospecies; The endosperm is hard and grayish white. The air is fragrant and strong, and the taste is cool                                        and slightly bitter.Hainan sand is oblong or ovoid in shape, with distinct three ridges, 1.5 ~ 2 cm long and 0.8 ~                                    1.2 cm in diameter. S urface covered with flaky, branching soft spines, base with fruiting pedicle marks. The                                           peel  is thick and hard. The seed mass is small, each petal has 3 ~ 24 seeds; Seeds 1.5-2 mm in diameter. The                                     smell   is a little light.
