Medicinal part：Coix lacryma-jobi l.var. mayuen(Roman.) dried mature seed kernel of Stapf

Plant forms：The product is broadly ovoid or oblong, with a length of 4 ~ 8mm and a width of 3 ~ 6mm. The surface is milky white,                             smooth, with occasional residual tan seed coat. One end obtuse, the other end wide and slightly concave, with 1 light                               brown dotted hilum. The abaxial surface is round and convex, and the abdominal surface has a wide and deep longitudinal                         groove. Solid quality, white cross section, powdery.  the taste is slight sweet.

Origin  distribution: Mainly produced in fujian, hebei, liaoning.

Harvesting and processing: In autumn, when the fruits are ripe, the plants are cut, dried in the sun, the fruits are laid,  

                                             and then dried in the sun.

Flavor and Meridian tropism: Sweet, light, cool.Return to Spleen, stomach, lung.

Efficacy: For edema, beriberi, adverse urination, spleen deficiency diarrhea, dampness bi clonus, lung carbuncle, intestinal carbuncle; 

               A wart or cancer.It is beneficial to water infiltration and dampness, strengthening spleen and stopping diarrhea, removing bi,                      discharging pus, detoxifying and dispersing.
